Hi. The following instructions are going to guide you on how to reset the Vodafone vfd 600, there are two ways you can reset your Vodafone device. If you just want to reset your phone because of any errors or some applications are malfunctioning you can just soft reset your Vodafone vfd 600 but in case you want to remove the password, patterns or pin on your phone because you can remember the unlock password, pattern or the pin, then you need to hard reset the phone.

Remember that when you soft reset or hard reset your Vodafone device all the data stored on the device memory will be deleted and there will be no way you can be able to recover the data ever again so please make sure you back up your data before you hard reset your device. You can use an external storage or the cloud storage to backup your data before you erase every thing. I'm going to give you soft reset instructions and hard reset instructions.

To soft reset your phone you need to switch on your phone by pressing the power button, wait until the phone is fully booted. Now tap the menu button from your home screen, you might need to unlock it if it has a screen lock. Scroll to your phone settings and tap in, now scroll down to backup and reset and tap in, now that you are in the reset screen you will see a "factory data reset" button at the bottom of the screen, tap it. Next tap erase "reset phone". Done with soft reset.

Next are the instructions on how to hard reset the Vodafone vfd 600 in case you are locked out of your phone and you want to remove the lock. First of all you need to power off your Vodafone device by pressing the power button then select power off. Wait for the phone to completely shut down. Now that the phone is off, press and hold the power button for ONE SECOND, after the one second you do not release the power button but you press and hold the volume up button. This combination will take you to the recovery menu.

Now that you are in the recovery menu, scroll down to "wipe data/factory reset" using the volume down button then use power button to enter. Now scroll down to yes using the same buttons. This will delete all the user data including the phone locks. Now select "reboot system now". Done.
